United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV6 Havana
2013 Park heating remote pairing.

Hi Guys.

Hope your all good in these weird times.

I have a 2013 SDV6 Autobiography which does have the remote park heating option but when I bought her she didn't come with the remote as the last owner kept it.
Anyway I got the correct parking heater remote with the range rover writing on it.

Only just had time to code it today!!!

I followed the steps how to pair the remote which I got off you guys.....

1. Remove the parking heating remote battery for 10 minutes plus then refit battery.
2. Flip down the glove box and remove fuse 1 (5 Amp) minium of 5 seconds.
3.Then refit fuse 1 (5 Amp).
4. Straight away press the off button and hold till the red light flashes 2 times.
5. Pairing should then be completed.

So I done this and then tried the on button and straight away the diesel heater kicked in and ran beautifully and got lovely and hot inside the cab. Then I switched it off with the remote all OK. So I let the diesel heater shutdown and thought I would try it again but nothing it didn't work!!

I did have my trickle charger plugged in to make sure the battery stayed fully charged so it was nothing to do with low battery.

I did try reprogramming it again with the same process above but nothing it just is not going to work. I have read tonight you should keep the off button pressed for 10 seconds but I can't see it being this as it worked well once!

I have thought I will get a new battery for the parking heating remote to just rule it out as I don't know how old the battery is inside even though its a new remotem.

Really would love this feature especially on these cold mornings. Hopefully you guys maybe able to help incase I'm doing something wrong. I have also read it can take a few tries to pair these remotes?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thumbs Up

Cheers.

Ross.

Hi Ross, you can only trigger the FBH once between engine starts. Hope this helps. Kev
