Egr flexi pipe

When standing in front of the car there is a flexi pipe to the left of the block which has cracked and sounding like a spitfire engine I've managed to bung it up temporarily and ordered a new one, question is what's the procedure to remove the old one as there doesn't seem to be a lot of room
