To keep he price down and attract people in to the show rooms they only "sell " HSE's and all the goodies we take for granted on Vogue an Vogue SE models are add on option packs . They used to have the Autobiography service but not sure what they do over there now it's just a model . 2008 MY Supercharged

All RR's used to be shipped to the US as HSE's. They were pre-wired for certain extras. They are still missing some of the toys we get though. Any options were then fitted by the dealer.

What toys are you reffering to Dan? The only thing missing as far as I know are the pre heaters. I would venture to say most N.A. RR owners have double or triple garages HSE comes nicely equipped with whatever tickles your fancy. Reminds me of all the Benzes I saw in Germany with cloth seats. You'd never find a benz over here with cloth. mike. |

Not sure about the reference to the width of ones garage? As I said - "Used to be" so may be somewhat out of date for the 2006+ but lacking unless spec'd where as standard on ours are: Heated seats front & rear + Ski Bag 13 way adjustable seats Bi-Xenon headlights & some different wood (These are the main missing features between an HSE and a Vogue) Unavailable options: First of all you didn't have the car for a whole year after launch. Pre-Heater Any ICE upgrade path - ie logic7 As for your mercs all being leather - It's cheaper for the company to import them with leather seats than order them all with cloth and then upgrade them later. When one buys a new Range Rover in the UK your model is built for you with the options/interior scheme you want. When one buys a new Range Rover in any other part of the world your buying a pre-built one and then the dealer can do limited personalisation. There is a benefit for you guys - upgrades are simple, being pre-wired for most options like phones etc. |

basically £1 =$1 for exports and we foot LR's difference in our prices here. They claim that if they didn't price with the market in the US they would sell nothing! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |
