The hunt continues - confusing MY2010 differences?

Hi FFRR forum,
I am continuing my search for a Range Rover Vogue 2010 facelift. I have looked at quite a few 2009 cars with the TFT instrument cluster, new lights front and rear etc.
But there seems to be some differences between them?
Some have the three-segment vertical side grilles and a plain black bar between the front fog lights and others the three-bar (horizontal) and mesh side grille and a chrome/stainless bar between the fog lights.
Are there any more differences (adaptive cruise control, adaptive suspension and split view tv?) between them in what seems to be a very minor facelift just months into the new model?
A confused Ron Confused

Hi. Vogue is a trim level, not a model. There was a tweak to the trim on the 2012 cars. Mines a 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE, an 11.5 year car, and I have the dark grille and black bar between the fogs. The Supercharged had the extra chrome. Mine has grey inside the rear lights. All 2012 models had the silver grille and horizontal bar, along with black inside the rear lights.

The Westminster was a run out model, and was not as well spec’d as a Vogue SE, unless options were added, so don’t assume Westminster is the best spec.

I posted the 2011 MY price and options list in this thread, if it helps?

Dual View is what you are referring to as split screen.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Perhaps I have not made myself clear. I am looking to buy a Range Rover 3.6 Vogue (ie NOT the Vogue SE trim version) with the 2010 facelift.
My question concerns those, mainly 59 plate cars, I have seen which all have the deeper front grille, TFT instrument cluster and LED front and rear lights but differ, with some having the grey vertical side grilles (carried over from the pre-facelift Vogue?) and a black bar between the front fog lights, and others with the silver three small horizontal bars and mesh side grilles, and a chrome or silver bar between the front fog lights.
Are there any other differences between these cars and when were these differences introduced?
Thanks,
Ron (still confused) Rolling Eyes

I see what you are saying. Can’t give you an exact date, but I know the ones with the 3 slats on the side vents will be the really early facelift cars. The ones with the mesh side vents will be later. I don’t think there were any major changes between them. Just cosmetic. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

From looking around earlier this year; the 3.6 was a bit more confusing as it span the model changes. The 5.0SC and 4.4 are much easier to define. And personally would be my choice as well.

I didn’t like the Westminster models, much prefer the leather on an Autobiography.

But as said before; the 3.6 with TFT dashboard will be correct for MY2010 but some will have personalised them. So get the one you like or personalise it to how you want it to be.

Why would you specifically want the 3.6? when the 4.4 is sooo much better!

And then there is the lovely 5.0SC. Even better than the 4.4 and much cleaner and thus allowed in those low emission zones.
