anoying drip

recently I had a major fuel leak from the high pressure rail on top of the engine (TD6) which is now fixed and the car is once again running well, however I have noticed that there is what smells like fuel dripping from the under tray intermittently.

So question is this an accumulation of spilt fuel from the leak finally escaping?
or is there something towards the front of the engine that can leak without effecting the overall running?

I've removed the top covers off the engine and from what I can see everywhere appears to be dry and thankfully the fuel gauge is not dropping like a stone, so am a bit of a loss

over to you for ideas......

Hi Joe thanks for the reply, to be honest I don't know I can smell fuel inside the car (but that's because the fans are on I guess) and outside standing next to it so that's what making me think it is fuel. problem is it's not stopped raining so is all the surface water getting splashed up and picking up the spilt fuel after my leak?
I guess all I really need to know is there a leaking pipe/cooler etc. etc. somewhere that's going to fail big time somewhere totally remote, if it ever stops raining I'll have to remove the under tray and check/clean.

Cheers

The air con drain is by the gearbox, so no covers need removing to see that drip... .
