Madness, pure madness......

I have gone totally insane.

I bought this barn find from a chap in the next village along from me today. A 3 door 1995 Discovery.

As if it isn’t like playing Russian Roulette running a soon to be 16 year old L322 as my daily drive? I am in need of some serious psychiatric help 😂

Main thing to check is rust our discovery was brilliant and would still have it today if it wasn't for the Mrs wanting something plusher so it got given to the old man.

Lol.... Not a bad idea Rob.

The thing is that if everyone just breaks their older vehicles eventually they just disappear and their heritage is lost. Just look at when you could pick up a 2 door Range Rover back in the 1990’s for £250. Most folk either did what you suggest or chopped the boot off them, put a lift kit on and off roaded them until they were trashed.

Those same 2 door Rangies that cost £250 a few years ago are now fetching anything from £10,000 for a barn find to £75,000 for a restored example.

I have a plan for the Disco, so I’ll keep you updated.
