IMHO a warranty with a £3,000 limit per claim is not worth having, especially at that price. For me the main purpose would be to guard against the catastrophic failure, e.g. new engine required, and that would be way over the £3,000. The other one might be worth it for peace of mind, depending on the detailed terms as to what is covered, limits etc, especially in the context of a 2013 TDV6.
As others have posted on here, the warranty providers aim to make a profit, so the average cost is likely to be below the cost of the warranty, but you'd need to be able to replace the car if you had no warranty and the worst came to the worst. So the cost of replacement as against the warranty cost is a factor too. Only Range Rovers since 1988
