Turned out it was a u/s injector - advised by garage to get a complete set. Well, they’re all 15 yrs old and I could get 2 years/months/weeks/days before another one went and knowing my luck it would be more likely to be the latter, so bit the bullet and got a full set. Sadly that hadn’t even been on my list of ‘things to do’ but the upside is that the big fella is running like a good one now, so the love/hate reltionship is set to continue for a while yet. 👍 L322 TDV8 4.4 - current

I had a similar issue when I had my TD6. Got told that if 1 injector was faulty it would still start.... takes 2 faulty to make it not start.

Not according to my garage, and they’ve never met me down yet. Hope we both have many miles of trouble-free motoring ahead 🤞 L322 TDV8 4.4 - current

I had similar issue had only one faulty injector car still ran but at 55MPH there was a judder and in reverse also. I diagnosed it with IID tool replaced the faulty injector which was no 5 and car has been great ever since. I was quoted over a grand by a specialist who just couldn't be arsed finding the faulty injector and was more interested in replacing the lot at my expense!! I picked one up for £60 and all in it was £125 with fitting. Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 SDV8 SVO Stying Pack
