Mountain out of molehill ? - TDV8 3.6L Cam timing procedure

Either I'm trying to make this harder than it is - or I'm not !!

I'm trying to time up the cams on my 2007 L322 TDV8 3.6L
I've got a timing kit for it.

Am I right in thinking, once I have.....
Locked both the cams and got the crank pin in place everything will be correctly timed ?

Or am I missing something ?

It just feels a bit easy to be honest !!

Thanks
