Homelink query

Hello,

I have the homelink option fitted to my 2013 Range Rover, but cant seem to get it to operate my Somfy Electric garage door & remote control lighting?

Has anyone else managed to crack this? Tried all the suggestions in the handbook to no avail Big Cry

Thanks,

Dave.

It did work for my old house which was built in 2010 so you could be right about that. all smug in my new plug!

the newer doors and gates use a 'rolling code' system which i believe homelink cant cope with.. ... - .- -.

Yes you can get Homelink to work.
You need one of these Cardin S476 and Transformer.

I have the home link on my gates and garage doors, you need the Homelink control module that needs to sit inline with the remote receiver, depends what gate units you have as to the rolling code configuration. Its not an easy one to solve.

Had the same question from the chap next door. Stan is exactly right. We have Came gates and due to the rolling code can’t be programmed. A solution is to fit a homelink recieved module, but this is a work around and kind of reduces the security levels given by the rolling code.....

I though better of this and just stuck the gate transmitter to the ceiling console with a 3M pad, meaning the button is where I need it, not a factory finish granted, but very functional, cheaper and arguably more secure. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
