As i thought the system has gone into hard lock out this is probley due to compressor failure the you will require a reset from a dealer or indy as you cannot reset yourself then a check on the compressor you can check the compressor yourself by unpluging the connector in the wheel well and applying power to seeif it works |

Sorry about that but i do remember recovering from this some time ago by shorting my compressor wiring out to pump the car back up to normal ride height but my problem was that the compressor was working but not producing air so i stripped the compressor refurbed the bore reassembled then ran it by a jumper on the plug |

Now that has my interest - Is it like a piston ring type seal? If this something you did on a lathe? When you say PTFE I have a vision of a roll of plumbing seal.. but can't imagine that lasting long in a compressor. I ask as I've been holding out for an overhaul kit but looks like I need to bite the bullet soon.. Faults popping up every few weeks now. 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS Previous Landrover products -1990 110 TDI CSW, 2003 TD6 Vogue - RRC TD Vogue, RRC v8 Fleetline, Disco ES V8 LPG, 101 Ambulance "Morph", 1964 SIIa Auto Powered by Jag 4.2 Lump - "Percy". |

I had this last week, went into Challengers in Tongham, the Autologic thing said compressor was faulty... New compressor fittted and fault still there, it turned out to be a faulty valve switch or something on the front left... They stripped it and put back together and now works perfectly....sadly a bit of labour but the new part was sent back and the old compressor re fitted... B |
