Chassis number advice

Hi all looking to order a front brake flexi pipe from island 4x4
Not sure what to order as mine is a 2005 so going with the chassis number how do you read it as says on website upto 5Axxxxxx is it last 7 digits? Cheers

Hi thanks for that my chassis number has a 6 so bit confused which one to order
as I’m a 55 reg
Also on the island 4x4 link says 2006 onwards is not the bmw engine which I have

Anybody know? Shocked

Last 8 digits.

If your VIN has 6Axxxxxx then you need the newer one.

Perhaps call them to be sure but registration date has very little to do with the build model year hence I would always tend to trust the VIN and ignore the fact its a 55 plate. Do also bear in mind it could be a Jan or Feb 55 and still be registered in 2006.

England 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Cairns Blue

If it was registered as a 55 plate, the specification could be 2006 MY (Model Year).
Model Years and registration year often get mixed up Paul,
2001 Discovery 2 TD5, 211,000 miles & climbing
2006 FFRR TDV8 Vogue 145,000 miles & climbing
