I’m pretty certain LR didn’t put bigger brakes on in anticipation of people remapping them seven or eight years later.

Sorry wasn't what I meant.

I guess the early L405 had more options fitted as standard and I guess they wanted them to look good for initial launch too.

Point noted......even if it is a stupid comment.....but.....

its probably cos they all work at Ford now........and have you seen what they did with the Raptor? Maybe they should hire some people with brains back!!! all smug in my new plug!
