Horn not working

Hi All, I’ve had my L322 for a week now and I’ve now lost horn function. I did spend a bit of time pulling the duel horns out yesterday to test. They clicked when I applied 12v to them but did not make any audible honk. I put them back in the car but no sound is audible when pressing the steering buttons. I also tried testing for voltage and continuity when pressing g the steering buttons and nothing. Also check fuse 10 as listed on the fuse cover which is fine. My car is a late 2005 jaguar engined 4.4 petrol 6 speed and it seems that the manual is for the facelift model with the gear lever offset towards the driver.

I’m not sure if it has a relay for the horn as there doesn’t seem to be any visible space or covers for relays mounted in the glovebox. There looks to be a factory fitted 6 cd changer above the fuse box.

Could someone please advise on next steps please?

Your horns are finished, they should sound if you put 12v up them, change them out.

Unnecessary quote removed

If it’s the same as my MY07, then there is a fuse and relay in the same box as the engine ECU under the bonnet

Just fitted the replacement horns which I tested beforehand but still no joy. I’ll check the fuse and relay under the bonnet. Thanks

It was fuse 16 under the bonnet. Thanks again
