Had to modify cheap garden sprayer to spray foam. Easy - plenty of info on net how to do it Geoff |

To get good foam it needs a violent mix with air, the foam guns use a venturi to do just that. If you have a pressure washer I recommend the chemical guys snow foam and their applicator, really sturdy and it creates foia that really sticks taking all of the dirt with it when you rinse it off. Well it arrived today, maybe testing soon, but I just bought a Karcher K5 premium and of course a foam bottle to go with it. I'm sure there may have been cheaper options but my daughter said she'd give a good home to my old Karcher as she has with my old iMac, iPad, Hi Fi, speakers and a flat screen telly - isn't it good to have someone you can pass your old tech onto. Enjoy, Karchers are good machines, I bought this one a month ago, superb.

Just snow foamed the FF and then used AutoGlym Polar Seal to put a hydrophobic layer on the car. Amazing results, the water just beads up and runs off. Loads of clips on you tube about how to apply it. Well happy with the results SDV8 AB MY 2019

Got the same set up as you with the Auto Glym Andy, same colour too and it works a treat, shines fabulous and water beads and rolls off. |

I recommend Bildt Hamber Auto Foam, most are there for enjoyment and the look but Bildt Hamber Auto Foam actually brakes down road grim and works very well.

The best snow foam will vary wildly and depends on how the car has been prepared and protected. You would want it to grab the dirt but not breakdown the protective layers. As such there will never be a best snowfoam for all. |

Just ordered myself a Lance and some AG foam and polar seal. So will give that a go and see how it goes. Just did a mitt wash today so next week it should still be pretty clean so will give it a spray and hopefully it will look nice and shiny. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I know this is an old thread but I'll do a mundane post. Last week I washed the car thoroughly but the sand came so I fired up the snow foam thingy and the jet wash to get rid of it. Worked a treat. Geoff |
