When does the Merc arrive / how long do you need them for ? That could rule in or out the winter tyres.

Can’t see past the Continental LX Sport for the L405 if 22”. Good tyres that can be had for good prices 👍🏻 |

Alistair - As of July I still couldn't get a build date for the Merc so I just cancelled it as I don't want to wait that long for a new car tbh, and Ive lost over 6 figures with COVID loss of business with no government support, so I'm going just keep the car for now until next year now, and if I don't see anything I like then I'\ll maybe add an SVO kit to it, so just going to "tidy" the car up and replace the tyres for now and refurb the wheels. It needs a new back brake light so might swap out the lights for SVO ones. all smug in my new plug!

you could consider buying 'take offs' from ebay and then sell your wheels/tyres to recoup some cash.. ... - .- -.

I've done that before - the cost of the 'take offs' was less than the cost of the tyres & a refurb - and more convenient.

I've had some real bargains from ebay with take offs but just the tyres . My current set of Pirellis were bought for less than a third of new and had covered less than a few hundred miles. 22' contis on mine when I got it but I found them noisy so changed to Pirelli Verde. 2015 4.4 AB
