I turned off the deployable side steps on my 2007 L322 while doing some maintenance using the switch so they didn’t drain the battery and now I cannot seem to turn them back on.

I have tried holding the roof switch and turning on the ignition but the orange lights are not lighting up at all.

I suspected a fuse had gone but my handbook doesn’t seem to mention the side steps on any of the fuses and none of the spares are in use.

Does anyone know if there is a dedicated fuse or whether they are fused with something else?

The WS manual and wiring diagram don’t seem to have any useful details either that i can find.
