United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue
Bought a TDV8

I’ve bought a TDV8 from auction, picking it up at the weekend, it’s a 2007 with 128k and FSH, didn’t cost a great deal so fingers crossed it’s ok!.
Had a few questions as want to service it and do a couple of other bits as soon as I get it, was last serviced 10k miles ago at the end of 2018 so wether due or not on the computer it’s getting one straight away, I also want to DIY new silicone turbo hoses for my own piece of mind if anyone can recommend a decent kit I’d be grateful.
Also I’m going to change the gearbox oil and filter for piece of mind too, could anyone recommend someone that does this service in London/Surrey/Hampshire?.
Pics to follow, hopefully it’s a good one, not sure what the colour is called, it’s a very dark metallic navy blue with cream leather.
I’d also really like to get a decent LR diagnostic tool if anyone can recommend one too, not my first one so I know they can be,quirky I suppose would be the most diplomatic way to put it Laughing .

Well done, you’ve got yourself a project there. Colour sounds like Buckingham Blue. My old L322 was that colour, as was my first RRS. That, with ivory interior is a great combo IMHO, but I’m biased!

That’s for the info Andy, yes the colour looks really nice, it looks to have some slightly later wheels on it, think they might be from a Sport but not 100% sure.
Just hoping it’s a good one, it’s been serviced regularly so that’s a plus, quite interested to see what the V8 diesel is like as my last ones were a 2.7 Sport and a TD6 before that.

Perfect, thanks for that Thumbs Up , Alton would be the easiest for me, I’m guessing I’m looking at £200-£300 for it?.

Do these have phone Bluetooth in them that works with modern phones?, or AUX/iPod connection?, sorry for all the questions, only ones I’ve been in have been other people’s recently and have all been L405s!.

Congratulations; I also bought mine from an Online Auction (sight unseen and a different Country)! Whistle

Eyes wide open, and be prepared to put things right from the get go, but then you have the certainty that the work has been done correctly.

Mine is a 57 plate but 2008 model year. Yes to Bluetooth for phone only - no media like music.
Aux stereo jack input is in the rear console between the front seats. But I am not sure if that was fitted in all models. Mine has the rear seat entertainment option. Previously a 2008MY Tonga Green Vogue SE 3.6 TDV8
