I am curious if the AJ41 4.4 litre Jaguar engine made it to your shores { after all it was made there}. I only see the BMW 4.4 or the Jag 4.2 SC. I would understand if it was not as desirable as the 4.2 in more power at same fuel penalty! Oh how I love my AJ41 in my FFRR it is the closest I will ever get to the comfort of a Rolls or Bentley with it`s ability to survive our winter ravaged roads. Though I will limit it`s exposure to the salt bath it will get during the Chinook { snow eating winds}

It was available in the UK for about a year I think. Probably around 2005/2006 but others will know exact dates. There might be something in the Wiki.

Thank you for your information, I know it was in the sport than bumped up the power slightly and put in the L322. It was special to Land Rover and not put in Jaguar or Aston Martin.
