32K miles & 2 years between services..

Morning chaps,

As above.. How much of an issue is this?

Looking at a L405 which has everything I want, the only downside is between 2017 & 2019 it only had 1 service and went 32K miles between!

I’m just thinking if I put a warranty on it would they just reject everything due to the above..

If its a diesel thats way way to far to go as the oil would be like dirty parrafin . Bet you it has oil and filter changes away from the LR dealers . But without proof ? I hope its a "good price " ?

A guy in work said last week his car has not been serviced in about the last 3 years. We had a look at the book and 3 is actually 6 years when he purchased the Renault at 33k which is now 112k. He just tops up the oil. Not everyone is a car person I suppose Shocked visiting from www.rrsport.co.uk

Apart from the usual attempt to ‘cop out’ of it’s obligations to pay up for a genuine claim, past service history should make no difference to an aftermarket warranty company. As long as it’s up to date when taking out the warranty and kept up to date moving forward it should be fine.

But as we know warranty companies do have a habit of saying NO even with a cast iron service history Whistle
