DAB radio help

I know there’s coverage of a certain station for dab in around my area. You can find the station on a cheap radio in doors and on phone but for the life of me I can’t find anything other than the well known stations in the car. Is there a way of refining the search?

Yeah tried everything. It’s as if the dab in our cars has a limited channel list. My sons golf sitting next to mine picks up everything

Stan yes I did go through all that yesterday. Mine was actually set to Ireland. Although I didn’t have any probs picking up other stations but even after setting it to UK it hasn’t made any difference. I’ll just have to play via Bluetooth from my phone.

I'm not sure if the DAB aerial is particularly good in the FF to be honest. I find that national DAB stations tend to drop in and out of signal on my FF, whereas I get full signal all the time in other vehicles.

There might be an aerial upgrade but I haven't looked into this yet. Tom

FWIW, all my Land Rovers since 2011 had DAB radios and all of them dropped out in certain places, as did the radio in my Jag FPace. The common theme was proximity to a more powerful signal, so for example whenever I pass a police station the signal drops. It also drops near mobile phone masts. It doesn’t happen in my Mini

That station looks to only cover most of Essex , just a thought but if your car cant find it ? drive into the center of its coverage area and retune and the car should keep it on the list . If you are miles outside the coverage area and stay outside of it then the list in the car will re populate and you will lose it again .
