3.6 TDV8 turbo failure?

Hello I Have 2008 RR L322 with 3.6 TDV8. With 360tkm on clock. 30tkm / Year ago it got tune, egr and dpf delete.

I has been keeping horrible squaky noise first I thought it was serpentine belt but I have changed belt and pulleys and it still keeps squaking. First it was just when revving but now it keeps it even on idle. It is quiet on idle but still able to hear it. When revving it gets worse. It started 10 months / 25tkm ago. It has changed only little bit. And when I listened it voice comes from passenger (rh) side turbo or something else near it

Its right hand side turbo hose (from intercooler to throttlebody) broke down in january and I replaced it, it is only real problem what I have had with it. Otherwise just normal oil change, bushed and brake parts.

It feels quite powerful so I'm sure turbo still works (atleast creates boost). And anyway I have driven it lot since it started to keep that voice. Can it be something else than turbo? How easy is it to change it?

And it is LHD model. No fault codes, no oil smoke or smell, never needed to add oil.

Could the noise be a "dry" bearing in the alternator housing ?
Can you place a long handled screwdriver or similar solid rod on the alternator housing while the engine is running?
Place your ear on the top of the screwdriver or rod and listen for any noises from the alternator.

Good luck ! Paul,

take the belt off (so alternator is not turning) and run it for a few seconds. that will test the alternator fro squeak.

I tore it apart seems to be leaking exhaust manifold gasket... It is just pain to get that exhaust manifold off. Can get any tools to fit.

two rear bolts were really loose, just opened them by fingers.
