Mine similar staining, perhaps not quite as noticeable [car done 109k].
A couple of days ago, I drained the gearbox oil and replaced it. While it all looked very fresh, only 2.75l came out and 4.25l went back in [I know more is held in the filter and torque converter], so I expect the staining is a slight weeping of gearbox oil.
It might be worth checking gearbox oil levels - its quite a quick job [20 mins on a ramp] but the oil is expensive [make sure you get LR approved 8-speed oil] and use someone who knows how to do the job [i.e. running through the gears while filling].
I'm not proposing to do anything other than keep an eye on it. Current:
