Overfinch always used to use 35 profile Toyos - 285 I think

I’ve recently bought an L332 with genuine Overfinch Tiger 22” alloys fitted with 285 35 22 tyres. The tyre profile and state of the roads is not a good mix! How much extra profile will I get changing to the above suggestion of 275 40 22? Thank you |

You will get a wopping 0.4 of an inch extra on the 275/40 profile |

Best advice is swap out for 20s and fit 255 55 20 for the UK's roads Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Apologies meant to say it is 0.4 per sidewall so 0.8 in total, which is not too shabby I suppose |

Having made the swap many years ago when I was running Olympus 22’s from Overfinch on my 322. The 275/40/22’s were massively more comfortable and looked far more “stock or factory finished” than the crappy feeling 285/35/22’s!!! Trust me, it’s absolutely worth changing them sir...👍 |

I had 285/40 on mine and after switching back to the 20s for a short period I didn’t think the difference in comfort was that much. Noticeable yes, but hardly a deal breaker for me with the amount. |
