Upper tailgate problem

My tail gate opens and closes fine with either the in car button or the one on the tailgate. If I open it on the key the top will open fine but then drops an inch, if I try and close with the key it then opens fully drops an inch and bleeps. Press the button in the tailgate and it closes fine or manually push it fully open and then press the key and it closes fine.
What's wrong ? letters not necessarily in the right order

try re-seting the height of the tailgate... ... - .- -.

I gave up with mine but I'm sure it's a little low when fully open. It went back to the dealers twice, including their body shop and lots of people, myself included reset the height. Just be very careful with those sharp corners.
