Interesting find re suspension last night

Not sure if anyone else has done this but here goes:

Whilst on the motorway, the suspension went into motorway mode, where I'm led to believe it drops, stiffens up and the steering gets a little heavier.
Anyway- I pressed the lock button accidentally and when I came off the motorway, it was still in motorway mode. Handling around the side roads was better (slightly) and the steering was stiffer. Didn't wallow, although to be fair its not a bad ride in normal mode anyway. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

The inhibit button would be pretty worthless if it didn't inhibit suspension changes, wouldn't it? Razz

Only safety related settings are 'forced' despite of the inhibit switch: off road height or access height at speeds greater than 35mph.

A few times but mostly on straight roads , arse clincher on bends tho ........

Plus they say the SC does 0-60mph in 7.1 seconds when it first came out ........... Pure Pish i can get faster than that .........

But as i have said before i am a C.u.n.t. of a driver ....... Note to self stay out of Sport Mode ...... Laughing Laughing

Saying that speed on the SC creeps up on you i have seen myself doing 70 mph yet when looking out the window you would think i was only doing about 40mph ====================================

Sport mode is addictive, amazing that such a big vehicle can accelerate so fast! Not that I would know that, being the caring , considerate driver I am....... Wink

That's what all the numbers on the speedo are for after all.

I've often wondered what the RR would do if de-limited. At top speed she certainly feels as if she has more love to give.

should be easy to remove the limiter?

had it done on the GC by my mechanic - took him about 5 minutes with his 'computer'

never found its top speed as the speedo only goes to 130mph Laughing

i'm told that the 0-60mph figures are the minimum you can expect with an 'ordinary' driver using auto?
