So, my 2007 TDV8 which was pressurising the coolant system has ultimately resulted in a head skim of 6 thou.
My question is.....
After having lost 6 thou in the skim - which head gasket should I use to keep everything in order ?
It had a two notch gasket before the skim.
I've asked some parts suppliers the difference a notch makes in gasket width but none of them seem to know.
Any info greatly appreciated

Am I right in thinking 6 thou is 0.15mm? If so I'd have thought a standard gasket would suffice.
