United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey
low power shutting down

I was out today and had cause to use the IIDtool without a power supply attached and I got the "low power shutting down" message. I had a small multi meter with me so I checked the voltage across the battery and it read 12.25v. I know this is not fully charged but it also doesn't seem that low to be shutting down. Has anybody else taken a volt reading at this point, is there a problem with the battery or does using the IIDtool take a lot of power out of it. 2010 3.6TDV8 Stornoway Grey/ Black interior - gone
2005 4.4V8 (M62) Bonatti Grey/ Parchment interior - gone
1998 4.6HSE Blue/ Cream interior (can't remember exact colours) - gone
1977 White - gone (should have kept)
