Car won't start after normal driving 4.4 ajv8 (fuel pump?)

Hi,
Yesterday, after ariving at gas station car started up and died after a second. After that it just did not want to start.
My friend went behind the car and said that the fuel does not smell from the exaust, when I was trying to start the car.

Can this be a fuel pump problem?
I scanned it with my icarsoft and it only said bank 1 and 2 too rich. I assume that this is because of all my attempts to start it.
I ussualy drive on lpg, so maybe my pump just overheated because of too small amount of petrol in the tank? (There was about 1/4 petrol in tank). I will check this evening my fuel tank, maybe it is just fuel gauge fault.
Any other opinions?

I had exactly the same problem as you in my 4.4. Filled her up with petrol, she fired up and then died. Would not start despite many attempts. Turned out to be the in tank fuel pump that was faulty.

UPDATE:

It was the fuel pump. Replaced with new VDO pump and car started imediately.
It seems that fuel pumps on this engines are pretty durable, but as mine have lpg and I constantly drived it with less than a half tank of fuel, it probably helped for pump to overheat and die.
