In mine the accessory socket in the rear shuts down after a few minutes. You'll probably need to get some wires directly from one of the batteries (luckily, both in the rear)... |

The rear socket is ignition controlled so will only be on when the car is running. This is to stop it flattening the battery while the car is parked.
