I would recommend only fitting standard LR supplied rear brake flexible hoses. I had an issue with non standard flexi-hoses that had been previously fitted and were rubbing on suspension/ hub strut. The tolerances of movement and potential for rubbing are very tight, and it was suspected that the "copy" hoses were slightly too long. |

It's all very confusing are OEM parts the same as genuine parts , are aftermarket parts any good , I would think any parts would have to meet safety standards or is that not the case |

Genuine parts will be known and signed off by LR to have been tested by the supplier to meet the LR specifications.

Beware the definition of OEM parts has been distorted over the last few years to mean only that the supplier is (or was !) a supplier to Land Rover - not necessarily of the parts you're interested in !

personally i wouldnt fit genuine. i have fitted non genuine flexible pipes to quite a few vehicles (50?) over the last 10years and none of them have failed. Cheers
