Ok so I have been without a RR for a little over 18 months now and thinking of trying to bag a discount on the run out models. Looks like things have moved on since I had my TDV6 with some different engine choices. There is hardly any difference price wise between the new D350 and the petrol MHEV P400 which makes choosing hard. One of the major issues I had with my TDV6 is the oil dilution issues, I did 50k miles and had 10 services in that time!! I don't really want to go back to that situation again, and I know this new straight six diesel is unproven as yet (cant even find a review on the net for it), so do we think the P400 is the pick of the range at the moment...does anyone have one and what do you think?

My usage is about 16k per year with regular long trips every couple of weeks, else its just around town. MPG not a major issue for me but I don't care much for performance, we have a C63S for that. I don't tow regularly, just a trailer every now and again, it seems for my use case the P400 would be the better option, no?

One of the small advantages of the P400 is it has a larger fuel tank than the diesel models so you get a better tank range, might be useful for your long journeys. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB
