Disappointing it’s heading even further down the Evoque/Velar roofline route.

Stacked tail lights; tick. Thumbs Up

For some while, I’d been of the impression that the LR design code was:

Vertically stacked tail lights = Good.
Horizontally laid tail lights = Bad.

Can anyone think of any exceptions? Wink

So far, it’s looking okay Thumbs Up

I reckon that the Fatty has been missing out on round headlights ever since the Classic. If, like the L322, it can look a bit more like the original, it’d be no bad thing 👍

Sure, but only if JLR gets it right 🤭

There’s a fine balance to be found there somewhere... Whistle

But yes, I agree with you sir... a hark back to the historic side wouldn’t do any harm!

The 405 is a confusion of the vertical stacked light DNA fighting against the evoque-led horizontal sunglasses theme. Big Cry

Unfortunately this confusion produced the worst tail light design I've ever seen:

without the 'L-bracket' looks so much better:

When the 322 came out , the design and treatment of the lights was a showstopper. But such a fail on the 405 and the L-bracket lights really put me off the 405 Cheers, Greg

Oddly, I much prefer the pre 2018 lights, as at least the odd appendage serves a useful purpose (neat side market lights), now it’s just a redundant appendix!

With the MY21 releases of RR/RRS I'm sure there are delays to both cars now.

Don't see the RR coming out in 2021 to be honest and the RRS might still stick to 2022, maybe a dual launch?

Who knows.
