Im considering getting warranty direct top level, as in no labour cost limit and all parts covered inc nav air bags MOT failures and no policy excess to pay.
They offered 3 years for 1740-00 and as the car is out of warranty and 4 + years old, albeit very low mileage, I saw this as a pretty good price.
Aftermarket Lr price would be 1,150-00 per year and have to be renewed on a yearly basis.
So double the cost.

I may even get a better price as I am considering doing the same with another car at the same time (boxster GTS).

It must be a VERY low mileage. With 80-90,000 miles on my 3 year old SDV8 they want nearly £7,000 for similar cover!

That doesn’t sound right to me. I’m guessing that might be that they are taking your mileage as an average, so by year 3 you’ll be on 120k.

Our current mileage is 16500 although that’s because we’ve only owned the car a few weeks. That figure will soon go up. It they told me that the mileage wasn’t capped.

Are you certain your quote was warranty direct, not warranty wise as warranty wise initially quoted me 1700 per year so they are more than double.

Yes, it’s definitely Warranty Direct. If it hadn’t been for the current circumstances, it would have been just under 100,000 miles at the start and around 200,000 miles after year 3 (car 6 years old).
I still have trust issues with WD after a bad experience, but many others have reported better experiences than mine.
