Dated plates seem to fall out of fashion I suppose Tim.

Take my plate, BO55 FOX. It was great on a new car. But I've not wanted to put it on one of our 60 plate cars as it makes them look older. So I recently bought a dateless FOX one.

but thats the wrong way of thinking about it, BO55 FOX means 'boss fox' and whether its on a brand new car it still means the same , it doesnt make the car look older... ... - .- -.

It does to me Stan. I must have psycological issues. Laughing

at the end of the day a 'plate' is worth its price to whoever buys it?

when i got my FFRR a friend said first thing you need is to get a plate to hide its age Laughing

and you wonder why people call them 'vanity plates' in the USA?

I wasn't refering to your post Nick. Cool
Just to the general ability of forum useres everywhere to take a for sale post and turn it into a discussion.
