theres a buyers guide in the wiki that should help....i would also look at LR used approved as you get a years warranty and prices are competitive.. ... - .- -.

I have just bought a MY17 4.4 and after talking to dealers and reading a fair bit before buying was definitely swerved to paying the extra for Euro6.London first but if rolls out across other Cities,Euro 5 will have a smaller market to sell on in the future. |

although crank failure does happen it seems to be a rarity ..i also get the indication that its on the disco version of the engine ..

I think you're going to struggle to get any LR dealer to put in writing that the crank is covered under the JLR/Car Care plan warranty.

Yes and at least two people on the Range Rover sport forum got it in writing as well, the key, of course is getting it in writing BEFORE buying it, plan would be, pay deposit, then balance after the written/email confirmation crank is covered by warranty.

I know a couple of people tried on the D4 forum and were told no, so it looks like it depends on the dealer.
