have a search somebody posted not too long ago some replacements that IIRC were OE supplier - and a bit cheaper than the LR version

I fitted Bilsteins to the rear at 108K kms as the originals had become useless after some fast towing on very poor roads. I had re-calibrated them twice beforehand so they didn't fail suddenly, just wore out.

Billstein as rear replacements on my MY2010 3.6 TDV8 last year.

Just ordered two of the same from Robin at Duckworths for my 2012 4.4 TDV8, as the near side rear shock lost all of its oil and the wheel is tramping over rough areas. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Current

The OEM are Bilstein so probably best to buy the Bixstein's from somewhere like 4x4 - don't pay the Land Rover Brown cardboard box tax.

You can check for the best price on LRWorkshop.com by putting in the LR part number. I've read they should be replaced in pairs but I guess that would depend on the condition/age of the other shock on your car.

Yeh my nearside shock did the same. Was getting a knocking noise going over bumps. Then the oil poured out when I stopped at the shop. Not knocking now. Will source a new one. Might be one side just now, till I've more money.

I had seen Bilsteins advertised separately but my left and right arrived in a single, combination box made for the pair.
