United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover HSE Td6 Zambezi Silver
Judder - pulling away on lock

Ive had a search and although there are numerous posts on judder none seem to relate to my issue.

My TD6 has recently started to judder when pulling away from stand still with the steering on any reasonable angle.

It's not bad just perceptible, it feels like one of the diffs is locking. Pulling away in a straight line is fine and the box changes gear smoothly.

Any ideas?

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Autobiography Black TDV8 Santorini Black

This is interesting. We've had our TD6 for about 7 years, and ever since we've owned it theres been a soft clunk/knock little bit of judder when on lock pulling out of a junction.

I posted about it on here at the time, and despite looking for faults and it going back to the garage I bought it from for them to strip down the rear and check it all, and it was all fine.

Its not got any worse in the 7 years, but it has always bothered me.

I recently bought the same year l322, but a v8. no such knocking etc, which confirmed to me the Td6 isnt normal.

I wonder if this oil change would help. if it got better, it would indicate the transfer box is the problem. 2010 L322 Autobiography Black Edition
