It sounds very clever... just interested if anything similar can be done , but using an iPhone and Apple car play ??

Does either system , Apple or Android have any big advantages or disadvantages ??

I have got both an iPhone and an iPad mini4 at present and have played around many times to get Google maps for decent up to date sat nav.

dont know for apple
i doubt you would find carplay as a software installable on a non apple device...
