LR have already lost the court case with this one. The judge said something like “LR can’t claim a monopoly on boxy looking 4x4’s”.

great name but they've missed a trick with the front end. Looks very dated and as if from a 70's/80's jap thing. (IMHO!) |

Interestingly, for me, Land Rover never copyrighted the shape so didn't have a hope in court, looks like a good idea however I am not sure it is financially viable in this day and age but wish them well |

They have to sell 25000 worldwide to break even, going for US certifications as well, I hope they succeed and it is a player but many have gone before........ |

I can see a bit of G Wagon which for me is a good thing but also reminds me of the Santana. Depending on how they put this together i.e. build quality and reliability I think they might have a niche between pick up trucks and chelsea tractors, i really hope it works and is a commercial success. This made me laugh, I bet Sir Jim and his mates have VERY good lawyers Having read various articles and watched how they went about researching and designing it, I think they will sell loads to people who genuinely need an uber reliable, off road, utilitarian vehicle - it should be better than anything else currently available Would I buy one as a daily driver - no, its not for my needs 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car! |

Oh trust me, he has. You don’t succeed as well as he has in business without a good legal adviser.
