Well looked after and had the turbo drain mod. Save yourself the aggro of a dealer Thumbs Up

I would....but we have a six year old so we need black leather.[/u]

A good leather protector and cleaner will keep the seats looking nice. I had cream beige on a 5 series when I had a 4 and 8 year old and it was fine, easier to keep clean than the cloth seats I had on the car before it.

I've always had a no eating and water only rule in my car though, so that does help. I let them have a small pot of dry cheerios when they were small as a snack, but that's been my only concession as there's no need for it! Very Happy MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

I wouldn’t worry too much about the turbo drain mod. Start it up then turn it off a couple of times before you take a test drive then make sure that you boot it to over 3K revs - not as easy as you might think, you might need to use the paddles. If it doesn’t smoke then it’s either had the mod or doesn’t need it.
As even the last L332s are getting close to 10 year old and/or 100K miles I doubt there are many still needing the mod.

What have you got? Petrol 88”? They’re like mechano therapy

1982 Series 3 2.25 petrol. It’s good fun but needs constant attention. I’ve also got two 1940s lorries that require mechano abilities too!

Well got the ball rolling and submitted a px form for an initial valuation on the boxster, well we will see what they think It’s worth, it’s a 2004 auto 986 model in silver with navy interior and hood, 4 newish tyres, and fsh last 3yrs by our favoured Porsche specialist, and only 54k miles. It’s been a good car, we’ve put 27k in 2 and a half years on it, only run it on super unleaded, so cheaper diesel will be a saving Laughing

I’ll look into that cleaner, normally I’d have a similar policy but grandparents have been smuggling him chocolates it turns out, got a horrible surprise when I went to lift him out just before lockdown and my hand was covered in brown yack! Thank god it was melted chocolate and thank god it’s black leather.

Dr Leather Wipes/Spray is very good and leaves a lovely leather smell in the car, but I use LTT Leather care now.

This will get you started and I'd recommend it even with black leather, especially if you wear jeans.

Well it’s been a while. After all of the above we turned up at the dealer and my wife fell in love with an Infiniti FX 3.0d! To be fair it’s a fantastic car, the e only downsides are boot size and part availability. Having said that we’ve finally found a Renault/Nissan specialist willing to take it on( after going through it with a fine tooth comb to check that parts are mainly shared with Pathfinder, Navarra and Laguna Coupe).

However…my company car goes back in 11months, and whilst my budget isn’t the same as my wife’s, I believe I can stretch to about £7.5k which should get me a 3.6 td v8 albeit with higher miles (120k ish), is the 3.6 and gearbox durable to decent mileages? Appreciate the dreaded turbo acctuators are the biggest issue, and yes I will treat EGRas a consumable if it hasn’t been done. Starting my research now, will be buying in March/April next year. Thanks for your patience and help…..knew I’d get an l322 at some point Very Happy
