If you want ultimate reliability buy anything but a Land Rover..... If you want the ultimate vehicle, get a fatty... Simples... The Range Rover will cost more than all the others you mentioned to keep on the road, it needs a lot of loving, and a lot of maintenance to keep it reliable.. I don't miss my Lexus but I missed my last fatty the moment the new owner drove away... Hence sold a Lexus and bought a Rangie... Hmmm .... did some research and according to the warranty companies the Mercedes GL is about twice as unreliable as the Rangie.
