Hey does anyone have recommendations for disc's and pads.

I am looking for more bite than the standard ones, Although it stops ok I want a bit more.

Any suggestions.

Lighthouse, why would you require more bite? The standard units are so overpowered! Why would you require more?

Might i suggest, if yours don't feel great? Make sure the pads are free in the front callipers! I am finding more & more often that the front callipers have the aluminium corrosion between the calliper and the sliding surface of the mild steel pad backing! This phenomenon can make the pads stick slightly giving poor brake feeling all the way to NO braking on the front AT ALL!!!

In the past 3 months i have changed 4 sets as they could not be saved and have stripped, free'd off, lubricated & rebuilt many many more sets...

Please have a look and report your findings sir Thumbs Up

Thanks buddy, I will take a look, what have you been putting in standard disc's and pads?

Mine just feels a little soft on the braking and when your duding towards a roundabout at speed just feels like it need more bite.

Yours definitely sound like they are suffering as above... The standard brakes working well, feel very responsive... More a la french car feeling...

I always use JLR parts sir so, standard all the way on brakes Thumbs Up

Thanks, will order the JLR parts then and strip down at the weekend.

Yes very French feeling, was also going to flush and change fluid at the same time, but def not what I have had rom others with 6 pot calipers.
