Hi all, Iam trying to fit a dash cam to my 2020 l405 but Iam at a loss when trying to lower the glove box to access the front fuse board. I fitted one to my last L405 (65 plate) but they seem to have changed the design, unless iam being a thicko but I does not seem the same, any ideas guys ? Agueroooooooooo. 93-20

Hi pfazz, i notice your car is a 2019. It might be worth contacting Range Rover Warranty to ask if its OK for you to fit your own Dashcam hard wired as it might invalidate the Warranty.

Really, they invalidate the warranty for that? That doesn't sound right in accordance with consumer laws... |

It's in the T&C's. Their batteries are (were?) terrible, not even sealed and only last a couple of years but we had to put another in for the same reason. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Just because it is in the T&Cs doesn’t mean it’s legal and enforceable.

Now that you can buy a Land Rover dash cam from JLR concerns about warranty issues should be moot, as they would be for any other approved accessory 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

Possibly. That LR Dashcam seems to be quite old tech and resolution. I have no evidence, but it seems like an entry level thinkware rebadge to me but for top of the range prices. |
