United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Baltic Blue

Strut off. That was easier than I thought! I could have done that job in less than and hour. Wish I had the parts now.

Quite a bit of oil inside and the bottom of the strut was very rusty and flaking so I decided to order LR struts and replacement bolts etc for peace of mind.

Island 4x4 £818. Not too bad. 2011 4.4tdv8 Vogue

Ouch, not cheap but I'm sure it will be good when it's done. BMW i3 Electric Car

Well it was 300+ for decent bags and bolts and with what seemed like more oil than expected inside, I had some concerns with the strut itself.

Definitely not misting! 2011 4.4tdv8 Vogue

In view of the oil find replacing the strut seems to be a good option, still hurts though LOL. BMW i3 Electric Car

So glad I didn't order just the bags before removing the strut. Both struts replaced and the car is transformed going around corners. Ride is slightly firmer but not too much.

When the rears go I will do the same as they have some light misting anyway. I know they do mist a little so not worried at present.

Just some re-caĺibration to figure out now. 2011 4.4tdv8 Vogue
