CD player? You mean cassette? The RR satnav screen on the BMW based models has a flip down screen and a cassette player behind. No joke. The only nav screen of that era/system with a CD was in the e46 and has an entirely different housing. Your radio/cd module will not work with the nav screen - I tried this. Making it work entails 3/4ofa satnav retrofit - wiring, screen, radio module. So you have the same choices as before: satnav retrofit, aftermarket lookalike, or stay as you are.

Ok so my multichanger would not work off of it ? And a standard mk3 screen would not just plug into what I have and work straight off ? Obviously without the navigation functions "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

the multichanger might show up - the radio module won't work, though. |
