That is stunning!!! Green with envy!

My boy just traded up his Panny to a Cayenne Sport and he loved his.

Having owned 911's (997's) with Ceramics I just loved them and loved the lack of brake dust and the driving style can be more aggressive too... and no warping the discs - win win!!

Miss my 997TT. all smug in my new plug!

Cheers, although it’s now throwing the occasional fault , into limp mode. Just had a code reader delivered so fingers crossed for a coil pack. Symptoms hopefully point that way, only £40 for them too.. shall report back.

In my 997TT coil packs are at the bottom and supposedly a 5hr job so hope they are more accessible on the Panny. all smug in my new plug!

Called out the AA for the fault, guy was really friendly and told me they were quiet AF. I don’t have one in the van but I’ll get one from eurocarparts and a new plug, I’ll be back later to fit it . All it cost me was £35. Looks like they are going to get every 1st call when it throws a spaz. They pony up £500 max towards repairs max of 5 times per year, great wee bolt on to their recovery package. It’s called garage parts and labor cover, even covers batteries. Wish I’d known after spunking over £300 on a new one for it Big Cry Big Cry

Dropped it off earlier to get the climate control button replaced, they are looking into the spoiler fault again , whilst the car is no longer in warranty, the fault was there when it was the last visit so fingers crossed it should be FOC.

Asked about a price for fixed price service, it’s been due since lockdown, turns out it’s only an intermediate required, that’ll be £525 for an oil change Sir. Mmmmm let me think about that Shocked Shocked Porsche tax in action there .

I’ve had 2 alternators done in the fattys, all it costs is £35 excess. Well worth it imho.

Well the spoiler fault reoccurred, went back in to dealer, they took the unit out and there are locating pins on the drive units, like big plastic dowels. One is broken and is the cause of the failure, they call it “outside influence’ , not covered by warranty, and I was peeved this wasn’t discovered when they had it for a week earlier in the year. But we can fix it for £800. Shocked Also had a local garage fit new handbrake shoes as they had disintegrated. Unfortunately we cannot get it to calibrate, think an actuator has gone caput so pants will be pulled down again.
I had stuck some rim protectors on the back wheels, and I went to change one after I clipped a kerb. They are stuck using 3m double sided tape. Only pulled the paint off the rim , so it was into the alloy repair folk. Had been thinking about changing the colour, and asked them to match from a sample pic I found online. Was a massive gamble, think I nailed it :
