Thanks for the responses. Currently I am in Bulgaria been stuck here because of lockdown. We had stricter rules here than in UK so couldnt travel anywhere since early March.

look at my threads ref this. It was a cracked inlet manifold only discoverable by HIGH pressure smoke test. could be a tiny crack in a pipe, not visible to the eye.

How did you reset with an iid tool, I thought when red, they needed a forced regen? |

I only managed it once, before the soot level got to 28.5 (forced regeneration cut off). I did an oil change as fuel in oil level was reading 12 (Cut off is 7!!)

DPFs are more resilient that some say. A dealer will tell you to buy a new one. But it may be clean-able.

I had Terraclean clear my DPF for £200. above a level of 28.5g the LR equipment will NOT be able to force regeneration.
