So time for an update,

so on sunday i went for a drive in the disco and picked up a new to us tailgate top.

the one currently fitted is starting to rust and bubble the paint, so found a complete one with dent for 6 quid!! bargain....

why is it a bargain i hear you ask. 1 it has the wiper motor in there, ours has been leaking for ages so i swapped that straight over, and although it is dented no proper rust on it.

so i stripped it down ready to go for dent removal and re-spray to get rid of the rust.

then once i get that back i will swap it all over and sell all the extra bits and hopefully make back so money.

also i have changed the batter in the second key (my key) it works in the ignition but will not lock or unlock the car!!!

im guessing i need to plug it in on that one??
