Hi all,

Had the low battery key come up on the dash yesterday.
Got new batteries for it today and changed the battery.
Still getting low battery key coming up on the dash.

a) is there anything that will turn it off(have iid )

b) how long will it take to recognize a new battery.

Mine does the same.

From what i've read they are very fussy on the brand of battery, I believe they like fresh Duracell.

Duracell and then lock/unlock a number of times for it to learn it has a new battery Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

The message won’t disappear straight away, though should after a few uses.

As others have said, it can be fussy. I found Panasonic ok too.
